We’re going on tour!
Posted by Admin on Thursday, March 21st, 2019
Well 2019 is evaporating so fast – it’s hard to believe we are at the end of March already!
We are in full swing tour rehearsal mode at the moment – getting ourselves ready to head back home in April to celebrate our 30 years together as a group with everyone who comes to check out our Little More Love Tour.
It’s going to be an awesome show! Even from the rehearsals with our band that we’ve had over here in Vegas, the excitement is already building at the idea of getting to perform 3 decades of our music for you guys. It’s so cool to once again be approaching all of our early hits and we’ve taken the chance to try and think of new ways we can do them for you. We have also been working on some fun merch to celebrate our 30 years so keep an eye out for that.
Of course, there will inevitably be a surprise or two – we love having as much fun with you guys as possible. Speaking of which, if you haven’t already nabbed your spot at one of our Soundcheck Experiences that we are doing at every show on the tour, make sure you do. They are a fun, intimate time where you get to check out first hand what goes on before the real show begins (plus you’ll probably get to hear something that’s not in the show and you can be pretty sure you’ll see us going a little silly). By popular demand we have added more tickets to both the Soundcheck & Meet / Greet Experiences in each city.

In case you hadn’t heard, we have officially re-signed with the Venetian for another 3 years! And with that we naturally start thinking about new ideas and possibilities. OurVegas show is already sporting a new line up of songs with the inclusion of some Motown favourites. And our Juke Joint section has had a few modifications as well. We are looking at changing it up even further in the coming months on our return from Australia.
And if all of that wasn’t enough to have on our plates, when I get back from Oz I will be launching myself into rehearsals for a musical that I’m doing with Cockroach Theatre in Vegas. It is an Australian production called Satango and it will be directed by Wayne Harrison (who has directed our Vegas shows). It’s going to be a lot of fun – maybe not so much when I’ll be doing an HN show and a Satango show each night!!
Now it might be a bit weird for you guys to bow to us and refer to us as Lords Toby, Andrew, Mike and Phil whenever you next see us, but just know that we are there same down-to-earth guys that you have known and loved since before we had OAM at the end of our names. It is perfectly natural for one to grow weary of peeling one’s own grapes!
Jokes aside, receiving the honour of The Order of the Medal of Australia is truly humbling and fills me with pride for my country and how I strive to represent it. And it is with huge thanks to you guys, who are largely responsible for making it possible for us to keep on doing the thing that we continue to love after an incredible 30 years together.
I hope to see many of you soon.
