Human Nature was one of the headline acts at a gala event celebrating the 80th-birthday of the legendary Apollo Theatre in Harlem. Surrounded by legends such as the Isley Brothers and Gladys Knight, the boys wowed the crowd with their toe-tapping heartfelt renditions of Motown hits. This Wall Street Journal article prominently features the band, quoting as Andrew Tierney joked with the crowd that he bet they never thought they’d be watching “four white Ozzies singing Motown at the Apollo.” But as MC Wayne Brady remarked: “music travels where it’s gonna travel.” Their whole career has proven that, and on such a famous stage, in front of a rapt crowd, the boys showed again that good music belongs everywhere and from anyone.
